Do the single tap of the TC button, drive around the block (you will notice the Comfort like response), and then press/hold the TC button while still driving to go TC full off. You should feel the throttle and steering tighten up and the exhaust get louder.

Nope, mine defaults to comfort with TC off all the way. Super sluggish throttle quietest exhaust.
