I've disabled ASD and it's even more quiet since much of the complained about loudness is from the ASD. Interesting though that even before I disabled it the car was much quieter than my 135is as delivered from the factory with the BMW performance exhaust. No one on 1 addicts complained about it there.

I am about to pull the trigger on the ASD bypass. Have also done some research on upgrading the stereo. Found some disturbing info posted in the 2er forum. Waiting to see how that shakes out before pulling the trigger on a new amp.
