Thanks for the reply. As I understand it, the Adaptive LEDs just swivel the lights left and right; the beam pattern is unchanged. I did a test last night and the 'normal' headlights on switch position has both lights pointing straight ahead. When you change to the 'A' position, the lights diverge, with the left light turning left to illuminate a UK kerb. When you go round corners, the lights follow the steering so you can see where you want to go.
The problem with this is that the dip cut off is not flat - it is higher on the left - so even in 'normal' position, I am irritating oncoming drivers. It looks like there is no easy fix. Bummer.
