Have you run a 265/40r18 on the track? Any noticable difference from a 35 sidewall? I would like to run 265/40r18, just want to be sure they don't rub.
I haven't run a 40 series since I was on 19's but I ran the same 26.3" diameter up front. No fender rubbing. You may lightly brush the front splash guard on full lock turning around. Nothing audible or damaged just a brush.

I had a similar sidewall height out back and I felt like it had more grip. To the point I had to lower pressure to utilize the whole tread width. I think a 265/40 square would be perfect, maybe the only draw back would be less transient response from a larger sidewall but more grip might make up for that deflection? I just like the beefy look.
