The addition of a four cylinder emphasises lightweight as does the six cylinder in the M3/M4.
So by this I assume a 6-speed manual and its significant weight savings will always be available on cars like the M2/M3/M4?

If so this is great news among rivals abandoning this principle, which will go a long ways towards keeping and nurturing the enthusiast fan base M has had for so long!
