Fine for experienced drivers, whether that is location experience, track day experience, and/or M2C experience. But not fine for beginners.
I have run DSC off at times but mostly use MDM mode on an unfamiliar track.
That may hide a true tail out mistake but it helps avoid a big incident and doesn't seem to hamper performance, tail out nature, or control.
On a skid pad, I did find the M2C easy to learn full DSC off, but you're on your own to reign back in...
I also mostly run in sport steering (for familiarity) and sport throttle (to avoid it being to touchy).
