I understand the tuning part, but thought a truely bigger turbo (not the ones where they swap out the compressor wheel) require time to boost up... especially vs a twin scroll set up where you typically enjoy the low mid end range of the power band, which is where most people spend their time on the street.
Maybe you right. Always thought that when i has shopped for a larger turbo on my golf r.
