Editing my initial reply. I did a quick WOT in 3rd at 3000 rpm and TC light did a quick flash (felt slight slippage) then hooked up until throttle liftoff at 4000. This was on a sunny 80 degree day. The point is, when running higher boost, some slippage is going to occur no matter how much rubber we have. It is a front engine car after all.

Got it. I get the same with 285/35 4S just on Stage 1.
I do a lot of road trips in my cars when it’s not on track and I really don’t want the added noise and discomfort of a 71R. I’ve tried that before—love the grip of the 71R, hate the noise on road trips.
Thinking I’ll try the 295/30 4S on my OEM rims to see if giving up some grip is worth the comfort. And keep the the 71R and R7’s on track.
