( well I'm in NJ and it has the highest density population by area and though I love NJ ( and its beaches )
but finding rash, aggressive drivers, wrong overtakes is no surprise here
Also weekends most of the malls parking lots would be full.

Congratulations on your new car. Just do reasonable thing like search a bit longer for a suitably-wide spot and park straight in the middle of the space. After that, don't worry. Its really just another car and not worth undue anxiety.
