Sounds like a plan. Especially with the S55 (and M4 CS tune?) in the car, running 305 in the rear might be a very good idea.
I got superb, incredible even and long wear on the rear 305 tires in my M3: 8 weekends. Didn’t even take good care of them in the winter, which I heard helps.
On the M3 the magical setup would be 305 square. Should be possible with correct offset, lowering, and camber.
