Probably overkill on this subject at this point, but I just installed mine, and this is exactly right. No need to remove anything to get to it. In fact, after looking at this link to know what I was looking for -
http://www.burgertuning.com/clutch_stop_BMW.html - I didn't even have to see it. I just felt behind the clutch through the rubber flaps, yanked out the factory stop and then pushed in the BMS one. Really couldn't have been easier. Best $10 mod ever?
