Would I recommend doing this now, having installed these? Not likely. I agree with the other comments that the engine noise of the M2 is what I like better, so much so that I don't listen to the upgraded stereo that much when I'm in this car. My performance downpipe provides the sounds I want.

Yeah I tend to agree with that. However, the small gap can add to a significant total area since it runs all the way from top to bottom. Also, the fact that the M2 doesn't have a real fender vent instead of a closed off emblem, does make me wonder about the functionality of that seal-less gap
