Prefer A Coupe-Like Roofline? 2022 Infiniti QX55 Will Cost You $3,000 To $5,000 More Than Equivalent QX50s

Infiniti has announced pricing and range details of the 2022 Infiniti QX55 ahead of its market launch in the U.S. this April.

The brand’s new crossover coupe model will start from $46,500, not including a destination and handling fee, and will be available in three well-appointed trim levels – Luxe, Essential, and the range-topping Sensory.

This makes the new Infiniti QX55 $3,000 more expensive than the equivalent QX50 Luxe AWD, the regular shaped-roof model it’s based on. All versions of the 2022 QX55 will be offered with Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive, and the brand’s 268 HP 2.0-liter VC Turbo engine paired to a CVT transmission with paddles on the steering wheel and a manual mode.

Other standard features include 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless Apple CarPlay, a power-sliding glass moonroof, heated front seats, Active Noise Cancellation, and a complete suite of active safety systems.

The 2022 QX55 Essential, which starts from $51,600 (+$4,900 over respective QX50), adds Infiniti’s InTouch Navigation to the standard dual-screen system, leather upholstery, climate-controlled front seats, an Around View Monitor, a heated steering wheel, and a Bose Performance premium audio system with 16 speakers. In addition, the QX55 Essential gets the ProAssist package, which includes ‘cube design’ LED adaptive headlights, Intelligent Cruise Control, and more.

If you want features like Traffic Sign Recognition, Direct Adaptive Steering, and a heads-up display, then you must opt for the ProActive package. Infiniti also offers the semi-autonomous ProPilot Assist system in the options.

As for the range-topping Infiniti QX55 Sensory, this starts from $57,050 (+$5,050 over the same grade AWD QX50) and comes with semi-aniline leather upholstery, natural open-pore wood trim accents, a tri-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, and ambient interior lighting.

Customers will get to choose between eight colors for the exterior of the 2022 Infiniti QX55, including Majestic White, Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Mineral Black, Black Obsidian, Hermosa Blue, and the special Dynamic Sunstone Red and Slate Gray.
