Might be worth it to go ahead and reserve a car with BMW on demand, you don't pay till you get there.
Even with TC on if there's snow and ice on the ground you're probably going to get into a bad situation even driving 50% on summer tires. If it looks completely dry I think you'll be fine but YMMV.
