You could also just turn off the LIDAR detection and use it for RADAR only. LIDAR detection is kind of pointless anyway; by the time you're hit by it, they know your speed and you're screwed.
I just bought a blendmount, and I already have a V1, but I might be interested in your mirrortap if it is the one sold by the Blendmount people...
