Fuel-It’s new M2C build thread

Hey guys!

We recently purchased a new 2020 M2 for some road race events and as fun driver’s car to mod and enjoy. We much prefer a smaller and better handling car over the brute power of something like our M4 that is just too big, too loud (straight piped), too obnoxious (crazy graphics), and is really setup more for 1/2 mile racing than anything else.

We’ll be using the M2C for a variety of functions/events but will mostly be concentrating on road course/timed type events and just enjoying the car for what it is...a 1M with a thyroid problem and a crack addiction that we don't have to worry about and can just beat the crap out of.

Since our priority is the driving experience, we purchased a manual that will get modest power upgrades (700whp or so) and we’ll upgrade the handling components as needed.

Since we get a lot of inquiries that vary from mild to wild and what's required for different power goals and fuel types we thought we’d start a thread to document the process for others to reference.

For this build we are planning the following:

Phase 1: Install JB4, Flex Fuel Kit, and dyno completely stock with 91 on maps 0 (JB4 off), map 1, 2, etc. Then we'll throw in some E85 and see how far we can get with just a stock flash, JB4, and moderate ethanol mixes as trims will be our limitation.

Dyno is scheduled for August 5th.

Phase 2: We'll go FBO with intakes, charge pipes, plugs, and CPI to see how far we can get while still on the stock flash. Dyno with 91 and JB4 map 0, 1, 2, etc. Then we'll switch to E50, see how far we can get and then we'll turn on CPI to max out fueling or turbos, whichever comes first.

Dyno TBD

Phase 3: We'll install the BMS BEF and run straight E85 to max out the stock turbos.

Dyno TBD

Phase 4: We'll install a set of Pure Stage 2 turbos and take it to about 700whp where we'll leave it.

Dyno TBD

Other upgrades we'll be testing along the way...

-DP’s are coming for this car for track events but will probably hold off on installing those until we determine they are limiting power output.
-Intercooler
-Heat exchanger

If there's anything you'd like to #'s for and we can accommodate that while dyno'ing, let us know and I'll see what I can do.
