If it's the clear, plastic paint protection film that BMW puts on the cars rear fenders, when I had Xpel installed on my car, the installer removed the film that BMW had installed, and he installed Xpel, but over a larger area!

Be glad that it's on the film! You can always try to see who installs Xpel in your area, and get a quote to just have the PPF in the rear replaced with either Xpel, or one of the other PPF brands.

I had my entire front bumper, hood, A pillar, front doors and a few other areas protected, but if you don't want to spend that much $$$, you could always just replace the film that came on the car, and your car will look like brand new and protect against bugs in the future!

Good luck... (It sucks that it happened so soon after you purchased the car, but it's very good news that the only thing damaged is the protective film! Hey... you have it much better then the bug.)
