Some misunderstanding here, MR is correct.

A "cat-back" deletes secondary CATs also as it extends all the way to the end of the Downpipes.

An "OPF-back" is a shorter system and would leave OPFs in place. OPFs are in place of the secondary CATs.

Secondary CATs are not supervised by DME, OPFs are..

So yes you could fit an OPF-back on a non OPF car but then you would be leaving the secondary CATs in place which previously a cat-back would have deleted.
