what about the track culture? would it be worth keeping my track bike etc?

Thinking about moving from Nashville to Denver and I would keep my m2 and bikes for what I hope would be some amazing road within an hour of the city? Right now I can get on some fun roads in about 30-45 mins and they just keep going. I do a lot of driving and have started tracking both the M2 and one of my bikes.

also can you get away with catless stuff there for inspection?
I'm not a track junkie, but I listed a few links below on a few in the area might be interesting. Most of the tracks/driver/rider events have been whacked due to Covid, but I *think* things are (slowly) getting back to normal? I just emailed the CO BMW CCA today to ask them about plans for this year as everything got cancelled last year.

Big picture near Denver: High Plains track and Bandimere (1/4 mile)-- other than that, you have to start going down towards Pueblo.

As far a "road rides"? You're minutes away from some of the best roads in the country! If you open it up to a two- or three- day trip, you've got Telluride, Durango, the Million Dollar Highway, Black Canyon, Monarch Pass, etc.

Here's a recommendation: Get a "Butler Map- Colorado"-- it's a motorcycle map (there are two versions-- paved and dirt) that will show (and color-code) the best roads/loops/out-and-backs in the state-- I've actually worn one out on my GS as it's an EXCELLENT road-trip planner!

Overall, Denver's a fun place. It's gone a little nutty with all of the "imports" from CA and TX lately, but it's still a lot of fun.

And? EPIC mountain biking, motorcycle riding, snowboarding, skiing, food scene, and Big Freakin' Rocks!
