With a chassis designed as a roadster, I don't mind the roadster version. When I bought my Z4M I was really looking for a coupe but ended up with a great deal on a roadster. I do not regret getting the roadster at all.

I agree about the weird top of the Spyder - it sounds annoying to use and, to my eyes, annoying to look at. On the other hand, I don't like the look of the giant wing on the GT4 (even tho it's functional), so each one has a drawback to me. However, the worst part of the pair may be the obnoxiously tall gearing.  |
The GT4 and Spyder are great track cars but I don't think they are fun road cars.
83mph at the top of 2nd gear! With an NA engine with max torque coming in at 5,000 RPM, you would want to wring it out to redline but you are in the speeding ticket territory after only one gear shift.
