I just cut a piece of plastic and used double sided tape to hold it in place. See attached. I also attached a picture showing where the scoops exit relative to where the snorkels live.
WRT to intake, yes, I'm using an Eventuri intake on my M2C. It retains the snorkels and attaches to them.
