Cars are totally opposite in size, personality and driving characteristics. If you need 4 doors and space then clearly the 5 is a good way to go. If you don't need 4 doors and want something with a sporty personality then the M235i would be the way to go. As I am typing this I realize I am not saying anything that you don't already know.
