I can tell by the smiles in the video thumbnail that this won't capture the true disappointment Neerpasch feels about the current state of the motorsport division. BMW currently offers 19 cars with M badges.
M has become a marketing arm of BMW with no regard for heritage and legacy. They still produce a couple great cars but the whoring out of the M badge across the BMW line to sell cars to badge snobs at the risk of frustrating enthusiasts is pathetic.
If Neerpasch doesn't genuinely despise what's become of one of the most storied and successful motorsport divisions in automotive history, I'd be shocked.
