I’m running a 7.5mm spacer on the front with a 265/35r18 RS4 on an 18x9.5 et28 wheel. Spacer would be totally unnecessary with the spring/collar out of the way. Any adverse affects to ride or handling with the extra preload, assuming you had some time at the recommended preload with s different wheel/tire set?
Has anyone looked into whether a shorter spring could be used to increase tire clearance without risk of coil bind at full compression, but also possible to preload the spring?
While I’m very happy with the coilovers overall, this is the one shortcoming of the Ohlins R&T that I’d really like to do something about.

I had Mperformance coilovers first then converted to MCS. While the MCS have more clearance the collar still limits me to 265/35/18 fronts using a 12.5 mm spacer with my TA16 18x9.5 ET35. I have 6 inch springs, so I just ordered 5 inch to move the collar up to allow 275s in front....better tire options.
