I should also mention that ethanol blends require more fuel volume for the same power. This means you're also working your injectors harder, and if you're really chasing big power you will be pushing your injectors to 100% capacity every time. This means even if ethanol has no impact the strain of pushing your injectors to 100% duty cycle at all times will inevitably kill them. Because technically Injectors need to have some head room, in the area of 10-15% capacity.
