I need some advice on my incoming M2C. In my E39 M5 and Z4M coupe, leather conditioning (including Leatherique when needed) is mandatory. I wasn't sure about the Merino leather in my F80 M3, but conditioned it as well with LeatherMasters Vital followed by their protection cream. The leather in the M3 seems less supple and more durable than that in the M5 for Z4M (the M5 being the most supple).

I've heard the Dakota leather in the M2C is coated and thus conditioner is not useful. What are your thoughts?
