So here is my timeline from start to finish (2020 M2C, Black/Blue, CF, Black Wheels, Executive Package, MT = paid $58,561 plus tax), I checked the app several times a day and called 800-831-1117 pretty much daily:

5/22/19: Signed the purchase order with BMW of Downtown Denver

5/23/19: Vehicle was scheduled for production

5/24/19: Production Begins

6/5/19: Assembly in Progress

6/6/19: Awaiting Carrier Assignment

6/11/19: Dispatched from Factory

6/13/19: At the Port

6/27/19: In Transit (on the Jinsei Maru)

7/14/19: Went through the Panama Canal

7/22/19: Arrived at Port Hueneme (2am CA time)

7/23/19: Processed through BMW VDC

7/24/19: Loaded onto the vehicle carrier (Deluxe Auto Carriers)

7/30/19: Arrived to BMW of Downtown Denver at 2:30PM (had 5 miles on it)
Test drove it, signed for it, took tons of pics. It’s awesome!

7/31/19: Delivered it to my PPF / Tint guy (12 miles on it). Hope it is done and home in the next few days.

The technology is amazing – got the BMW Connect App running; from my phone it shows me fuel level / Range, I can lock, unlock, flash the lights, sound the horn, locate the vehicle, ventilate now/schedule vent, send destinations to the car (and alerts me when we need to leave if there is a time I need to get there). The technology is impressive. Also, there is a button that power folds in/out the mirrors (I read someplace that you need a code to make that happen) so that was a nice surprise.

In the limited time I’ve spent with it, I’m more than happy with this car. Can’t wait to get it home.
