The M5 sounds awesome and is much nicer quality wise. But you always hear it described as: blindingly fast and well handling "for its weight". It is also huge!
I already find the F3x to be about as big as I would ever want to go and the first thing my wife said when she got in the loaner G20 I am driving now is "OMG this thing is way too big!".
The M2 has pretty much the same track width as the M5 but a wheelbase almost 11 inches shorter!
