Just wanted to ask for your recommendation:
I've got a set of Protrack One in 10x18 +20 and 10,5x18 +40 and plan to run 265/35 front and 285/35 rear. Car is lowered on KW CS 3-way.
Would you think, 265/30 and 285/30 (or even 295/30) is a better choice?
The wheel set is only for track use.
That's an aggressive front fitment, but with a good amount of negative camber, it will clear the fender edge. Since this is a track setup, you'll want to dial in a healthy amount of negative camber anyways (tire dependent, but ideally beyond -3º up front). We outfitted Tyspeeds M2 club racer and Pikes Peak hill climb car with a 18x10.5" square setup with 295/30-18 Toyo RR's, so with the right adjustments we know what this chassis is capable of

Keep in mind, KW's are notorious for eating up inner clearance due to their silhouette and overall spring stack height with helpers, so depending on the tire size and brand that you go with, you may very well need to run slim spacers up front or modify the spring configuration (run shorter main springs and/or remove the helpers) to raise the lower spring perch so it sits above the tire rather than next to it.

In regards to ideal tire size, it will come down to a number of contributing factors including how the car is set up, your personal preference and driving style, as well as tire availability. Do you have a particular compound in mind? This will help narrow down which tire configuration(s) you could potentially go with quite quickly

Any of the following configurations are on the table with your wheel specs:

F: 265/35-18
R: 275/35-18

R: 285/35-18
