I ran Michelin A/S 3+'s on my 340ix when I had it. They were pretty darn good it simple cold and rain, and simply OK in what snow we got during the couple of winters I was running them. I'm running Michelin Alpin's on 641M wheels and they are just absolutely great on cold, wet roads. Actual winter tires will be better even if Portland and Seattle don't actually get any snow. They will give you better stopping distances at 35 degrees than all-seasons will, and if either of our towns DOES get snow they will be very, very worth it.
