If you have a family or drive with more than one person or want something a little more livable.... yes.
However, if you're in the market for a Porsche Cayman/911, Toyota Supra, Z4, McLaren, Ferrari, NSX, Audi R8, Lambo, etc.... then I think smart money might be on the Corvette.
I've always dreamed of owning an exotic, but I just cant justify sinking $150-250k or more on a depreciating asset that requires a ton of maintenance and is hard to live with. Corvette just changed the formula. Obviously, for those who buy these cars just to show off their wealth, nothing changes, but I don't believe everyone is so braggadocious and pretentious.
