There are no good rubber choices for the M2C to put the power down unless you change the brakes so you can put 18s on the car (R888Rs are slow, 71Rs grease out, R7s are expensive and don’t last, Trofeos are better suited for the street, no Pirelli or Michelin slicks), and finding a coilover setup with enough clearance to run wide wheels & tires is a +/- mm experiment each time.

I haven't made the jump to coilovers yet since I daily my car and our roads here are horrible and the Dinan HAS is about the softest setup out there, but it's allowing me to run 265/275 18x10 ET25 in the front and 295/305 18x10.5 ET40 EC-7R's in the back, no spacers.

At some point being able to get max rubber under the car in the best tires/compounds available def outweighs the extra power available from the M2C, or having to deal with the fuss of running crazy spacer & suspension settings to make certain coilovers work.

SEAT TIME RULES is def on the right track, it's just cost an arm & a leg to get there bc of all the constraints with this car!
LOL! I waited for the S55 motor but knew I had to add the Essex Kit to get the 18's we need to run more extensive tire options. When ths car starts to morph more into a track 1st street 2nd car I'll Modify the wheel wells to get 295's up front :-)
