I kept my 328i which I drive in bad weather (rain). Otherwise I drive the M2 (love the Sport mode). Since I live north of the Mason-Dixon line where we have winter, I'll be garaging the M2 for the 3 winter months which the insurance company gives me a discount for. Otherwise I'd have to invest in an expensive set of winter tires and rims and it still wouldn't be an ideal winter driver. Then there's the wear and tear on the car due to salt/cinders. And the lower annual miles will improve the car value when it's eventually sold.
