Ah, interesting ... I thought the F10M Gold was the oddball due to larger rotors, but what you say makes sense now. Thanks.
The 'unmodified' calipers:
F10M Gold - radial mount over 410mm rotor
F8X Gold with bracket - axial mount over 400mm rotor
F87 M2C Grey/Red with bracket - axial mount over 400mm rotor
'Oddball':
F10M Blue machined down 5mm - radial mount over 400mm rotor
