I requested information directly from AFE Power and actually the published diagram was obtained with an open hood. I honestly do not think that is very sincere. Publishing performances that you will not be able to replicate on the street makes absolutely no sense .
I will stay with current K&N panel filters. This weekend I have cleaned them ( I have covered about 10.000 km ... about 6.000 miles ) . It was not absolutely necessary since they were still very clean without any trace of insects or other kind of dirt that I usually found on other cars I had. Maybe it can be explained since airbox sucks in air from inside engine compartment and not from air intakes behind bumper grilles .
