Same issue on my 2018 M2. I notice it the most when making a slight turn to the left on the highway (either changing lanes or following the bend in the highway). The steering wheel briefly becomes stiff (sticks) and then breaks loose, like pushing past a notch or binding point.
I took it to get an alignment at a third-party shop and it helped the steering stability but not this problem. I'm thinking of bringing it to the dealership. I know it will be a pain to explain the issue to the techs because it can be pretty subtle sometimes.
Anybody else have any luck with this issue? Thanks
