Had to log in just to acknowledge and commend the last post. Brilliant, simple synopsis.
The only area where I'll ding the M2 as a daily is the firmness and jitteriness of the ride. Otherwise, it's great on the highway, great on back roads.
I've driven a 718 Spyder on track and would never track an M2 over it if I had one. Except it's just for fun. The GT4 would destroy the M2 every single time. On the other hand, so much of what the car offers cannot be experienced on the street. So without a track, its at best half used.
The 911 as you say is a perfect dissection of both.
