While the Corvettes have been generally reliable, Chevy is also facing multiple high profile class action lawsuits right now specifically about the C7 Corvette's defects/unreliability. How would you like your wheels cracking by just driving them?
For the people who hate on Chevy quality on current C7s and Camaros, hasn't been in one. They are night and day better than they used to be on the previous generations. The C8 will be good too. And for the price, quality vs cost is a hell of a bargain.
