Everyone has a choice. That said, why bother with ceramic coating; more shine, ease of care? To your point, arguably money poorly spent on a $65K +/- car. It does nothing to protect against any rock chips. Of course, PPF will not protect against
BA rocks.
All said, I am all for PPF as I do not find paint patina attractive.
