My 2018 M2 is at 16k. Went in for an oil change, and they told me my air filter and spark plugs are also due. I told him it's odd plugs are due so early, but he said "Hey, it's free so why not?"

I wonder if it's something they're doing to condition buyers into thinking this stuff needs to be changed sooner. This way, after warranty runs out, they will come in for service more often and dealership makes more money.

If I had known they wanted to do my plugs, I would've researched if I wanted to go a step colder and ordered them for put it.
