Oem may well be sturdy to begin with but the critical oem rubber diaphragm will get weaker with age/cycles etc so DV performance will degrade.

If paying for FBO then adding any DV upgrade is worthwhile IMHO esp as install is way easier whilst you are installing cooler, boost pipes and inlet pipe upgrades.

As said above the decision is GFB DV+ at ~ £100 or TS PnP at ~£200.

My GFB DV+'d car's throttle response is fine or no surging etc on part pedal or overrun
