This is correct - there are definitely other options besides Ferodo for these setups. On the 2500 - squeal & dust are not very noticeable - but since everyone's tolerance level on these is different I hate to just claim 100% they are a non factor. I personally am happy with my Ferodo setup - 2500 on street & 1.11 on track and looking forward to trying out the 3.12. But like you said there are certainly other options available, just got to find the ones that work best for you.
