Solid choice. C5 Z06 and C6 are solid platforms for track cars. They are faster than 98% of cars which show up for track days in my experience. And low cost to run, maintain and own are a huge plus of course. I have been very tempted by C7 GS. Perhaps in a few years I'll bite as well.
