Not a bad prediction, 1M started at 47K USD, so M2 could be under 50K starting. Its sort of wishful thinking though, I expect starting to be low 50s |
1M started at $47k with limited production was a way for BMW to test the waters and also hype up the market for the new era of M cars (turbo I6, etc). BMW is going to make the M2 their bread & butter for their performance cars. They dont have to sell this one (M2) cheap cuz they now know theres a market for it. Also we have to see where the competition is at, amg45 starts $50s so my guess will be starting low to mid $50k
