Its in the coding section because it was a reply to coding and warranty loss with an example thrown in of my dealer being anal with regards to warranty. Read the last couple of posts and itll prob make more sense.
The reasoning is that it would block too much airflow to the rads of the hungry hungry hippo M2C. In fairness it sits lower than the OEM one and blocks more of the opening. I have the oil temp gague up all the time and it does not seem to move from 2 ticks above 70C once warm. Car is only 1k km old though.
