An M2, while a nice sports coupe, is pedestrian in comparison. It’s at a price point that is somewhat affordable and attainable much like a Corvette is. But would you rather have a Mercedes AMG GT C/R if you had to choose a front engined sports car or even an M4 if price were the same?

Bingo. And that is why I would take the CS any day, at least as a daily driver. I'm one of those odd people who love Q-ships/cars. I think it is great that no one (outside of car enthusiasts) knows what the heck an M2 is and do not pay attention to it. Of course the M2C, especially in CS form is not exactly a Q-ship (especially compared to my E39 M5
) but compared to a 911 it is...
Can't go wrong either way...
