I track my 1M, and with my mods it is pretty close (sometimes slightly quicker depending on driver) than a GT4. As it has become more of a track only car, I have been considering what to buy that could be a beastly back roads cruiser and eventually move into the track car role in 5-10 years. The GT4 has been the natural candidate, but my nearest Porsche dealer is 165 miles away, and the only Porsche capable Indy shop in town closed (owner was offered a job with Currus-Callas Porsche Race Team, crew chief, and is outa here) so all my friends with Porsche's are a bit peeved. I do most of my own work, but I still want local service available.

Hence the M2CS. Local dealer, local independent shops, familiar platform for me, and a back seat to boot means we can use it for family cruises.
