It does not surprise me the Germans measured it at 491HP.

Under load the S3 is very fast, either shifting up oer down, really much much better than the 2015 M4 DCT that I test drove, really no compression any more !
As a OG M2 owner, this makes me anxious to see if I'm getting a CS allocation here in the States. I'm hoping US allocations come out in late August or September.

If I don't get a CS allocation, I'll be disappointed but made the decision to save up more money for a new 911 (at least an S, not doing Base). Unfortunately, nothing else BMW makes excites me. Going from a OG M2 to a M2 Comp seems like a small difference and doesn't interest me. Not when I had my heart set on the M2 CS for the past 1 and a half years (early 2019).

The new M3/M4 look ugly and are HUGE. I can't help but think the M4 is a poor man's 911 Carrera S. The G82 M4 CS and CSL will be inferior to Porsche 911's just like the M8 and will be overpriced and depreciate rapidly like the F82 M4 GTS/CS. By the time the G87 M2 CS comes out it will be 2025 or later (maybe 2027 or so). So again, nothing but the F87 M2 CS excites me in BMW's lineup.
