Fenix, make sure your neighbor with the grey car (hitch + carrier) doesn't back into you and you should be good.
Seriously, your option is to buy shorter screws (hard to find) or add a plate frame to prevent the screws from protruding, but the backing nuts could still hit when pushed hard.
