Yes it's widely spreaded like that, but when you drive it you may feel the huge difference. I'm not sure what causes it, but M2C feels much more stable in the high speed andmore refined in all conditions of roads. And the idea about M2C and OG M2 uses same damper has not been proved clearly. Some says that BMW engineers has recalibrated the damper for the increased weight of M2C.
